Navigation using the GlobICE coordinate system

GlobICE gridded netCDF products contain location data in a polar stereo coordinate system identical to that used for the SSM/I grid at NSIDC, and also the RADARSAT Geophysical Processor System (RGPS) (Kwok et al, 1990). This projection and coordinate system is described in the Product User Guide.

The following software may be used to convert between the GlobICE coordinate system and latitute & longitude.
